Open Data only matters when people can actually use it. ODON is the non-profit association that makes that possible — through free APIs, data engineering and storytelling services, and hands-on education for students and practitioners.
We are an interdisciplinary community based in Vienna, working across technical, social, and organisational dimensions of Open Data. Our goal is simple: lower the barriers, raise the quality, and let data drive better decisions for everyone.
Who We Are
ODON focuses on the technical processing and effective use of Open Data. We create tools, provide resources, and build platforms that make data easy to access and simple to work with — for projects, research, tools, and services.
ODON is a registered non-profit association in Austria (ZVR: 1593372349), committed to making Open Data accessible to everyone.
